Interpretation
Between land and water, the interpretive bridge invites you to see differently: listen with your eyes, feel with your ears, and dive into the poetry of life.
This sensory and educational trail transforms the discovery of wetlands into an active interpretive experience. Studio Overall designs inclusive and ecological stations combining design, public art, and education to reveal the richness of ecosystems. This project is part of a conservation and accessibility approach that supports Île Saint-Quentin's mission to raise awareness about, educate on, and inspire care for the sustainable protection of natural heritage.
Conceptual choices
The footbridge is a sensory thread linking people and nature through poetic and inclusive stations.
The design transforms wetlands into living museums where families and seniors are invited to actively immerse themselves.
Technical choices
The stations, which are modular and easy to assemble on site, are designed using sustainable, local materials.
Each element integrates low-tech or no-tech devices to support the experience without harming the ecosystem.
