Judith Portier

Co-founder, Executive Director

A daring entrepreneur and passionate creator, Judith has a keen ability to analyze a space's potential and communicate it. In her 15-year career in event design and strategic development, she has directed the scenography for hundreds of projects, some of them award-winning, both in Québec and internationally. Her vast experience in the field and her practical and theoretical knowledge of the visitor experience give her a thorough understanding of the sector.

Frédéric St-Laurent

Frédéric St-Laurent

Co-founder, Project Manager

Trained as an industrial designer, Frédéric is a skilled project manager with over 30 years' experience. An expert in urban planning, museography and signage, Frédéric excels at managing multidisciplinary projects. As co-founder of Studio Overall, he is a sensitive, thorough, and experienced team player who thrives on challenges and knows how to adapt to the multiple specifications of projects, clients and our ever-evolving world.

Myriam Peixeiro

Myriam Peixeiro

Co-founder, Creative Director

Myriam is an energetic, ingenious designer. She specializes in narrative worlds and scenography design. With an ability for cross-functional design, she is very careful to express the nature of things with great finesse. Her approach brings strength, freshness, and sometimes humour, to her unike design proposals. She leads the creative team and ensures artistic cohesion on all the firm's creative mandates.

David Gour

David Gour

Designer, Project Manager

With his dual training in design and cabinetmaking, David has a unique take on space and objects. His solid experience in museography and furniture design demonstrates his skills in conception, manufacturing, and managing multidisciplinary teams. A keen listener and collaborator, he tackles his projects with great curiosity and open-mindedness.

Marine Lastère

Marine Lastère

Industrial Designer

Marine has a degree in industrial design from the Université de Montréal and in food design and innovation from the Scuola Politectnica di Design. Over the past 10 years, she has developed strong skills in technical resolution, 3D modeling, and production drawings. She has also participated in several projects for public spaces, including microarchitecture and park furniture for Montréal and Québec City.

Sandrine Thériault

Sandrine Thériault

Designer, Project Manager

With 10 years' experience designing public spaces, Sandrine puts her expertise and creativity to work on inspiring projects. With a double degree from the École de design (UQAM) in environmental design and event design, she excels in creating interactive and engaging spaces. With her passion for managing immersive projects, she transforms public spaces into living, participatory places by synergizing art, technology and design.

Daphnée Brisson-Cardin

Daphnée Brisson-Cardin

Graphic Designer

Having acquired solid experience in agencies, at festivals, and as a consultant, Daphnée has developed finely honed skills in art direction and illustration. With degrees in graphic design from UQAM and Collège Ahuntsic, her expertise lies in creating concepts that combine aesthetics and functionality — offering narrative visual environments that are both engaging and user-friendly.

Technical Draftsman

Tom has 10 years' experience in architecture and technical drawing, making him an expert in space, furniture and layout design. With his mastery of drawing tools, he gives form to complex concepts, translating them into precise technical drawings and realistic renderings. Highly attuned to assembly details and material optimization, he transforms ideas into reality.

Sylvain Toulouse

Sylvain Toulouse

Graphic and Interface Designer

Sylvain is an invaluable asset to the team with his understanding of space and his ability to integrate visuals. He has collaborated with the Studio Overall team from day one, including designing our signature. He has created a number of user interfaces, logotypes and signage variations for a multiple media, including audiovisual content. With his passion for design, his attention to detail, and his boundless creativity, he produces projects of impeccable quality.

Museologist and Writer

Estelle is passionate about creating engaging and accessible experiences. She imagines stories that feature human encounters and local know-how. Estelle has a rich background in cultural project management and a specific expertise in historical storytelling, along with a bachelor's degree in tourism. She enjoys exploring participatory and innovative ways to uncover traces of the past through the prism of contemporary issues.

Michel Paquette

Michel Paquette

Senior Scenic Designer

Michel has over 40 years of professional experience in art and scenography. His success lies in his boundless creativity, his love of teamwork, and his ability to work under pressure with demanding constraints. Michel draws his inspiration from the forests of Northern Québec, so you won't see him at our offices, but you'll certainly see his sketches.

Julien Le Hegarat

Julien Le Hegarat

Technical Draftsperson

With a master's degree in furniture design from the École Boulle in Paris, Julien has been working in interior design for over 15 years as a scenographer and 3D modeler. He knows how to best communicate and enhance an idea through illustration. He also has the ability to produce detailed specifications, drawings and technical guides for the manufacture, installation, and handling of our permanent and mobile installations.

Sophie Doucet

Sophie Doucet

Executive Assistant

After a long career as a museology project manager at a renowned institution, Sophie joined the team as an administrative assistant. She has a keen grasp of the many aspects of our practice, and uses her knowledge and analytical skills to ensure that the studio runs like clockwork. Her extensive organizational and planning skills are a valuable asset to the team.
