An immersive journey into the history of the "Canadian Titanic" to grasp the scale of the tragedy. This temporary exhibition tells the story of the sinking of the Empress of Ireland and its dramatic consequences on the lives of those on board. Highlighting the human elements behind this shocking event was essential, out of respect for the many victims. To achieve this, we created a journey that follows the timeline of events, allowing visitors to establish an emotional bond with the people on board. The exhibition zones are laid out like a drama in five acts, providing access to the vast collection of underwater archaeological artifacts collected from the shipwreck at the bottom of the St. Lawrence, as well as a wealth of audiovisual and interactive content.
