Placemaking

The goal was to celebrate the resilience of Montrealers with a gesture of hope for a pleasant summer, despite the pandemic. The rainbow of colours storming Place Riopelle was designed to brighten up this prestigious park at the gateway to Montreal's Quartier International. Despite the measures implemented to counter the spread of COVID-19, Montreal's strength remains its ebullient artistic talent. We wanted to remind Montrealers that our city's strength lies in the investment we make in our spaces.
