Interpretive tour Mégantic

This permanent open-air interpretive trail for Lac-Mégantic's micro-network is a large-scale concept that has become an international landmark.

A series of signage structures mark out a visitor's path through the town centre, organized as an independent or guided tour. Informing visitors about the components of the micro-network (the Pavilion, the Station, and the Post), these tubes evoke the idea of a network, of a line travelling and emerging from the ground to reappear further on and create didactic moments. All the points of interest of this unique micro-network are unveiled to the public ― tourists, scientists, or both.
