The goal was to create a warm and welcoming winter environment to celebrate winter in style! The artistic direction for a functional and festive site aimed to give over 10,000 festival-goers an unforgettable experience every evening. The site is continually evolving and renewing itself, requiring careful attention in order to maximize space planning from year to year. Journey mapping was based on an iconic staging of our nordic nature, with meticulous consideration for usage and circulation patterns. This allowed us to create a fluid and exciting overall experience, and to take particular care in designing several specific zones for sponsors or to play with contrasts in light to warm up spectators.
